Nikola Jokic, who was picked by the Denver Nuggets, has established himself as one of the league’s most skilled players. He won the Most Valuable Player award twice and is largely regarded as the all-time best passing for a big man.
Jokic is arguably the best second-round pick in NBA history, and the Denver Nuggets front staff made the right decision in selecting him. Jokic also holds the record for being the MVP winner with the fewest points. They definitely recognized his genius, but I wonder if there was some serendipity involved as well.
Nikola Jokic’s agent, Misko Raznatovic, recently shared a story about Nikola Jokic receiving a Denver Nuggets sweater as a gift when he was a child in 2000. The sweater belonged to the Denver Nuggets. When asked about Nikola Jokic, he stated that “a little fate plays a big role in the overall outcome,” and that owning a Nuggets sweater back then “was a rarity.” He also stated, “A little fate plays a big role in the overall outcome.”
Whether Nikola Jokic can ever lead the Denver Nuggets to a championship remains a question mark in women’s basketball. Most people believe he is already the most accomplished player in Denver Nuggets history, and winning the title is the only thing left for him to accomplish with the team. I have no doubt about his success.
