Nikola Jokić, a Serbian basketball player, recently visited a “cult place” in Sombor before heading to the United States to prepare for the next NBA season with Denver. Two female students from the “Dr. Ružica Rip” High School of Medicine spotted Nikola Jokić in a bakery in Sombor while on holiday, but were too nervous to ask for a photo.
“We were overjoyed when we saw him.” Of course, we all knew him, and you couldn’t help but notice him because no one in Sombor is as tall as he is. “He bought burek, pretzels, and yogurt,” claimed one of the students for “Večernje Novosti.” She was startled when she spotted the Serbian basketball icon at the bakery.
On the eve of his flight to Denver, Jokić stopped by a Serbian bakery to have his favorite childhood snack, burek. Former coach Dejan Milojević once admonished him for eating “heavy food” and forbidding him from doing so. As a result, he began to provide more on the floor.
“We hired a nutritionist and our fitness trainer, Marko Ćosić, created a fantastic work program.” Second, he devised the diet regimen; we killed ourselves working on it, but we saw it was not heading in the right path. Dejan Milojević revealed that the individual consumes half a kilogram of burek for breakfast and a bottle of soda throughout the day.
Nikola Jokić, despite being one of the heaviest NBA players, has become one of the fittest in the world by focusing on his physique. “I was fat until a few years ago,” he admits. I enjoyed eating everything and refused nothing. I ate everything, from cakes to soup with a little more fat. I eat something unhealthy before each game. A slice of pizza and popcorn… Nikola Jokić explained, “It’s just against the spell.”
Nikola Jokić purchased burek and yogurt in Pekari before leaving for America.
Nikola Jokić revealed to the media that the previous summer was the best of his life, citing his bronze medal with the Serbian national team in Paris as a personal highlight.

“Playing in the Olympic Games did not take anything away from me; I enjoyed representing Serbia, my hometown, my family, and playing with my friends. Anyone who has the opportunity should participate; it’s a new type of competition, whatever you name it. Every game counts, and every loss can send you home. “It’s interesting for the players, and I encourage them to do it,” he told the Americans.
