Russell Westbrook, a Southern California native, remains unfazed by the Lakers’ early-season struggles, spending quality time at the Happiest Place on Earth with his wife and children.
With the Lakers having played against the Clippers last Friday and enjoying a weekend off, Russ seized the opportunity to bond with his family.
On Sunday, Westbrook and his wife, Nina, took their children to Disneyland in Anaheim, California, where they relished the park’s attractions and indulged in delicious churros.
The Lakers star sat in the front row of the Radiator Springs Racers during the ride (see picture below). He also visited the Web Slingers Spider-Man attraction in the Marvel Land at the new California Adventure Park.
Since joining his hometown Lakers, the former UCLA standout has been all smiles, despite facing a season marked by inconsistency due to injuries and team chemistry issues.
Westbrook isn’t the first celebrity to grace Disneyland. Other A-list visitors include Trey Songz, Nick Cannon, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, Halle Berry, and Mario Lopez. Kobe Bryant was also a longtime Disney fan who enjoyed the park.

Russ and the Lakers will face the Celtics at Staples Center on Tuesday as they aim to regain their winning momentum.
